What does equity-deserving mean?
Funding Impact recognizes that some individuals and communities have historically experienced barriers to accessing capital, networks, technology, mentorship, and business support.
Equity-deserving communities may include people and organizations impacted by barriers related to race, ethnicity, Indigeneity, gender, disability, economic circumstances, newcomer experience, language, geography, or other factors that have shaped access to opportunity.
